Yesterday, three roller-type cucumber grading machines, custom-made for a long-standing Polish client, were successfully loaded into containers and shipped to the European market via an international freight line. This marks another instance of deep cooperation between the two parties, built on years of trust.  The equipment integrates precise roller grading technology with automatic packaging functions, providing efficient power to the Polish client's post-harvest cucumber processing and helping them achieve quality upgrades and increased production capacity in the European market.

Customized Core Configuration: Roller Grading + Automatic Boxing, balancing precision and efficiency.

The cucumber grading machine shipped this time is designed with the core concept of "customized adaptation and intelligent upgrading."  Targeting the cucumber varieties grown by the Polish customer (length 15-35cm, diameter 3-6cm) and the strict market requirements for fruit specifications, it utilizes industry-proven roller grading technology combined with an integrated automatic boxing system to achieve fully automated "grading - boxing" processes.


Roller Grading System: The core of the equipment utilizes food-grade 304 stainless steel rollers. The roller spacing is preset with 5 gradient levels (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm) according to customer requirements.  A variable-frequency motor drives the rollers at a constant speed (adjustable speed range: 8-15 m/min). During the conveying process, cucumbers automatically fall into the corresponding grading channels based on their diameter. The roller surface is treated with a special anti-slip coating, with a friction coefficient controlled between 0.4 and 0.6, ensuring stable and non-slipping fruit conveyance while preventing surface damage. The grading error is strictly controlled within ±0.2mm, far exceeding the accuracy of manual grading, enabling precise differentiation of different specifications such as "mini cucumbers, standard cucumbers, and premium cucumbers," meeting the high requirements for cucumber size consistency in European supermarkets and catering channels.

Automatic Box Packing Integration: To address the inefficiencies and fruit damage issues associated with traditional post-grading manual packing, the equipment seamlessly integrates an automatic box packing system at the end of the grading channels. Graded cucumbers are gently guided by a baffle plate into custom-sized packaging boxes (compatible with commonly used 30cm×20cm×10cm food-grade cardboard boxes). The packing speed can be adjusted synchronously with the grading capacity (up to 60 boxes/hour), with a quantitative load per box (supporting customized settings such as 5 cucumbers/box, 8 cucumbers/box, etc.). A flexible cushioning device is incorporated during the packing process, and the low drop height (≤8cm) design and sponge protective pads effectively reduce cucumber collision damage, ensuring the fruit remains in perfect condition after packing.  Simultaneously, after packing, the boxes are automatically pushed to the output conveyor, facilitating subsequent sealing and labeling processes and significantly reducing manual intervention. Humanized and adaptable design: Considering the dimensions of the Polish customer's workshop (12m long × 5m wide) and power supply conditions (380V three-phase power), the equipment body adopts a modular design, and the overall dimensions are optimized to 8m × 2.5m × 1.8m. This saves installation space and facilitates future maintenance; the operating interface is equipped with a multi-language touch screen (supporting Polish and English), allowing for one-click switching of graded parameters and adjustment of packaging quantities.  Ordinary workers can operate the machine independently after simple training; the machine body is equipped with universal wheels and fixed support legs, balancing the needs for flexible movement and stable operation.
