Against the backdrop of rising labor costs and stricter food sanitation standards in the U.S. citrus processing industry, our tailor-made integrated orange postharvest processing line from JCSORT has been fully loaded and delivered to a local citrus packing plant in the United States.
This turnkey production line covers the whole standardized workflow from raw fruit feeding to finished grading preparation, solving pain points such as low manual efficiency, inconsistent fruit quality, short shelf life and high labor expenditure for American orange processors.
Complete Standard Configuration & Working Flow
The whole line adopts modular layout, composed of six core functional units in sequence:
-
Soaking Washing Tank
Preliminary soaking softens surface soil, sediment and farm dirt on freshly harvested oranges; equipped with circulating filtration water system to save water consumption and realize preliminary impurity separation, laying a foundation for deep cleaning。
-
High-pressure Spray & Soft Brush Washing Machine
Food-grade flexible nylon rotating brushes cooperate with adjustable high-pressure atomized water spray, 360° comprehensive scrubbing of fruit peel stains, residual pesticides and surface microorganisms. Soft contact ensures zero peel scratching and fruit bruising, fully complying with U.S. FDA food contact hygiene requirements; all contact parts are SUS304 stainless steel for long-term sanitary operation。
-
Primary Air Blowing Dryer
High-speed uniform air curtain blows away surface free water rapidly after cleaning, avoiding residual water dilution of follow-up edible wax and uneven wax film coating. Oranges rotate automatically on the roller conveyor to realize omnidirectional surface dewatering。
